Christophe Szpajdel is a graphic designer born on September 29th 1970 in Gembloux, Namur, Belgium and currently residing in Exeter, England. After designing his first logo for the Finnish band Disgrace (3) in 1990, he has today drawn over 10,000 logos, mainly within the black metal, death metal and ambient music scenes. The amount of work he has done in the industry has lead him to be nicknamed the "Lord of the Logos", which was reinforced when he authored a book of the same name showcasing his design over the years. His most prolific logo was the one he designed for Emperor (2) in early 1993. In the 2010's Szpajdel has been exposed to major publicity after working with the Foo Fighters and Rihanna.
